AutoDesk: Revit When i first opened revit I created the walls tools. Then next i added my bendy glass wall in, I did this secondly because it had to be made of glass so you could see out and i also wanted it to fit the building in a neat way! Once i did all the exterior walls i started to add my interior walls which only took we a second because i knew where the rooms were going. Okay now to add windows, I click on the windows tool and selected the window for me in the Libraries, Then i stuck the window where i wanted it and resized it so it look bigger and better for the building! Once i did that i did a quick job of adding doors to the interior. Then i did another quick job by adding a quick car park and that's where i am up to now! What i did next was set a color code for the floor, so you knew what room was what, also it made me know where I need to put which furniture where. I also did this because it makes me the architect know because if the building gets built then the builders would know where the room has to go in the room What I have done now was I have added the second floor which will be used for more technical rooms e.g. IT Rooms and the chill out room. I am putting the electrical stuff mostly on the second floor because I think it will be more easier for the people to know where they are going in the building instead of getting lost. The next thing done was the cinema. This was built on level -1 (so basically its under the surface). The 2 buildings at the side would be the screens where you view videos or films. They are the size of 2 floors together because of the size of the screen and also it gives enough room for the seating. The thing i added next were stairs at the front of the building because it looks good when you look at the building and also it brings a bit more design to the front of the building instead of it looking empty and plain, it will have more of an architectural look to it On this picture I cut my building in half and realized i need to put all furniture in to make my building look good on the inside and to make me understand the proportions of the cinema more. In this photo it is the fully furnished both cinemas on each side. I put floors 400 away from each other so they formed a stair shape, this made it easier to but chairs on. I also need to put the lights and design the inside to make it look better for people to sit in. In this photo we can see where the electricity and water is going to go in the -1 floor where the 2 cinemas are based. You can also see that there will be electricity all the way up the the cinema this is because of the speakers and lights all the way up the seating area. The photo here shows the building services building. I need to add the windows and door the get inside of it but that is not the most important thing in this building, The thing that makes this building special is that the building will hold the boiler and electric box so the whole building can get power and water. The next thing i will do is add the furniture and the rest of the windows and doors. |
